If you’ve ever woken up in the morning dreading to start the day, then you’re likely to delay getting up.

And the things on your to-do list don’t get done.

By the end of the day, you’re even more dejected and beat yourself up for not completing anything you needed to.

Your business takes a huge toll because of it.

But what if it had nothing to do with how “lazy” you are?

Here’s what I mean.

Humans Freeze When Threatened By Feelings

When opposums feel threatened, they play dead.

It’s because their predators prefer their food alive.

This is know as the “Freeze” response of their nervous system.

For us humans, it occurs often when threatened by our own emotions.

Research indicates that emotional pain can be as painful as physical pain. This is why the brain often reacts to stress as if it were life threatening.

The problem is our brains feel threatened for about 70% of our whole adult lives.
