Innovation and inclusion are deeply connected. It’s time to teach businesses how to embrace the obvious.

Lenovo is the world’s largest PC manufacturer with more than 57,000 employees in about 60 countries. A large part of this success has been attributed to the company’s strong foundation and a company culture of diversity and inclusion.

In explaining how they’ve been able to successfully serve such a large global customer base, Yolanda Conyers, the company’s chief diversity officer had said:

This takes more than out-of-the-box thinking because it’s not just one box. It’s a hundred different boxes. A million different boxes. It takes every dimension of our diversity. All our diverse mindsets, skills, and cultural backgrounds, to deliver such a wide array of technology.

And nothing could be as true as this statement, but the simplicity is illusionary.
