Why You Should Work Remotely

Upon writing this, I’m actually in the Netherlands working remotely for two weeks. This isn’t my first time working remotely, and it certainly won’t be my last.

Let me tell you why.

An adventure not taken, is a bundle of fantastic memories lost

Travel is just that: an adventure. It sounds cliche, but it’s one of the most enlightening things you can do for yourself. It’s a learning experience, and allows you to see new things, try new foods, and meet new people.

One thing I’ve noticed while living in America is the lack of traveling Americans do, where people are more focused on spending money on cars, clothes, or the latest iPhone: things that don’t matter and will lead to unhappiness in the future.

Take that money and use it for travel. If you have the ability, use it to work remotely. You won’t be missing out on any paychecks or payed time off, and you’ll have the benefits of a vacation abroad.

There are a few other great benefits you gain from working remotely, so let’s dive into them.

    Work when you want, where you want, and how you want. You’re out of the office, which means you can sit in your Airbnb and work from your bed if you want. That also means you can walk down to the local, cozy coffee shop, and work from there while…
