There is plenty of info on working remotely and also many Designers are not new to this way of working. Going to the neighbourhood coffee shop drinking and making the world a better place has been around for many years.

The difference is that the governments these days are asking people to work from home and not the coffee shop or park, or beach. Due to the social distancing measures that are taking place because of COVID-19 we are facing a new level on the definition of working remotely. Working from home. Sometimes a big or a small physical space.

In addition to that, the complexity and challenges increase when everyone you work with has to work from home, too. Top it with kids and other family responsibilities and you will have a very challenging situation that works frequently against productivity.

Discipline and organizational skills become crucial for keeping productivity high and still having a work-life balance.

Here are a few thoughts that will help designers to work from home with their product teams and keep productivity relatively high.
