Strong opinions which never change. Stubborn and dogmatic beliefs. A refusal to consider conflicting evidence. Retreating to familiar media sources which confirm our beliefs. Never engaging with opposing viewpoints. All of these things are the cause of many problems in this world. Many in this world claim to hold absolute “truth”, and wield this “truth” like a verbal sword against their “enemies”.
