Service Provider Spotlight: Bassam Auto Towing

At the end of the day, it all comes down to the customer on the side of the road, and delivering the best service possible to get them safe. This is why Swoop is excited to recognize Bassam Auto Towing from El Cajon, CA as our June Service Provider of the Month! Since we started working with Bassam last fall, they have stood out for their customer service and professionalism with the many clients they have serviced through Swoop.

With a perfect customer satisfaction rating of 100%, Bassam Auto Towing has gone above and beyond to embrace everything that we look for in our partners, and strive to achieve for our customers at Swoop.

Bassam and Shirley, the co-owning husband and wife duo, have been in the towing industry for 5 years, and have grown their humble one truck business to now have a team of 8 drivers. They started their towing business as a result of the issues they kept running into themselves with their previous business. Shirley from Bassam Auto Towing recounts:

“We used to have an auto dealership where we would sell and buy cars but we always had problems with the drivers from the towing companies. They were always late or the service was not completed perfectly. So we decided to open our own towing company and do it ourselves.”

Not only does Bassam Auto Towing achieve outstanding customer satisfaction by hitting their speedy ETAs and maintaining a high professional level of service, but they take pride in going the extra mile to support our customers. Shirley told us this recent story:

“We received a dispatch for a customer who wasn’t fully covered for their tow by insurance and he was going only about two miles over his limit, but the customer didn’t have much money to pay for the extra mileage. When we asked the dispatcher what the customer could afford to pay for the last two miles, the dispatcher apologetically said the customer only has $3 dollars to pay. We replied not to worry about it and we’d used the money to buy drinks for the driver and customer.”

Bassam’s focus on the details and doing right by customers shows, and was captured in one of their recent customer reviews:

“Keep doing what you’re doing, perfectly executed.”

It makes us proud to work with towers like Bassam, and we appreciate how they have embraced both the Swoop network and software to aid their own goals to grow their business and offer exemplary customer service.
