This week you can find the Swytch leadership team in San Francisco for the Block to the Future event. Evan Caron and Steve Jurvetson will both be giving talks there. Evan will be presenting Swytch at 1:40pm on day 2. If you’re going to be at the conference, come say hi and Evan will be happy to talk about Swytch with you.
Last week, Swytch co-founder Dr. John Clippinger hopped the pond to speak at Energy Unblocked in London, a conference that brought together leaders in the field with entrepreneurs and corporate executives to discuss how blockchain can provide solutions for the energy industry, with a particularly strong emphasis on renewable energy. John had the following statement about Energy Unblocked:
“ There was a high degree of sophistication in energy issues and policies in this audience, and I was gratified to see their strong interest in Swytch as an effective global inventive mechanism that circumvents the failures of global carbon markets and recs.”

Evan Caron made a trip to NYC last week where Swytch hosted a dinner with top blockchain and crypto enthusiasts to discuss how our project provides real solutions for real issues. Evan was also a featured speaker and panelist at the Platts North American Digital Commodities Summit held in NYC. This summit focused on blockchain and traditional energy market disruption with leaders from CME group and Nodal Exchange.
Dr. Clippinger also participated at Crypto Summit 2018 in Switzerland. He had this to say about the event:
“The Crypto Summit was an enormous event and it is clear that Switzerland wants to be a global leader in innovative but rigorous regulations, It was a great opportunity to meet social impact investors who see Swytch as a powerful means to flip the global economy from fossil energy production to sustainable energy production. As an advisor to Smart Valor, the organizer of the event, I was fortunate to be given VIP access to speakers and investors. We will be following up with Olga Feldmeir, the organizer.”
