Exciting news: Swytch beat 21 other companies to win the d10E Puerto Rico pitch day on March 14, 2018!

Swytch, a blockchain-based platform that verifies renewable energy production at the source, was presented to the contest judges, a discerning group of investors gathered in San Juan. The pitch was led by Peter Hirshberg, Chairman of the Swytch Board of Advisors. Voting was based on scores tallied by the judges and the crowd in the room.

Evan Caron, CEO of Swytch, said, “The win is a nice confidence builder for our team and what we’re building. It helps validate Swytch’s vision of creating a sustainable and equitable energy future.” Andrew Pearsons, COO of Swytch, explained, “It’s great to see some of the most impressive and knowledgeable leaders in the blockchain space recognize what we’re building. We feel like that speaks volumes about the quality of our project. Seeing the quality of the other projects throughout the day, we knew there was a high bar to clear. Peter did a great job representing the project. To come out with the top award adds even more momentum to our project. We’re excited to continue demonstrating how blockchain can drive meaningful economic and social value.”

As the winner, Swytch will share the $100,000 prize that is split among the top three companies.
