Projekt Ilaiyaraaja 211/365 — Niram Pirithu Parthen

I have been listening to Megha, the new album from Maestro for the past two days. This is going to be the album of the year for me. And, there is a song that has been fascinating me in the album. I could not say what genre, what style has been used and it has been making me go mad. That’s what Ilaiyaraaja is all about. The song is Kalvane Kalvane.

Kalvane Kalvane’s prelude reminded me of the prelude from the song I am posting today. This album was one of the most underrated albums and people don’t talk about it usually. But some of the songs were very popular in TV Shows at that time.
