Week One Is Just Week One.

There will be time. There will be time.

Talk to them. Laugh with them. Listen to them.

Watch them. Hear them. Consider them.

Start the journey of knowing them, knowing full well you may never know them, just as you may know them only too well.

Embrace them with your intellect and your compassion.

Hold them with your stories and your vulnerabilities.

And remind yourself, my teacher friends.

It is only week one.

There will be time yet for a hundred indecisions, and for a hundred visions and revisions.

And if you must, give them the syllabus, talk about the rules. That’s quite okay, too.
