🧠Neuron: The Synapse Wallet
The future of cryptocurrency wallet experiences is here.
We have a couple of exciting updates to share with everyone.
First things first: We’ve just passed ~500,000 users. That means we’re going to have a huge network of participants and supporters to help grow what we’ve all already started. It’s an important milestone for any work, so thank you for that, and thank you for helping spread the word about what we’re working towards.
Neuron Wallet Release
Thanks to the hard working team at Synapse we’ve been able to build our own wallet from the ground up. We didn’t fork any code, or slap some logos on existing wallets — it’s a brand new app. That means we now have in-house expertise to create new and innovative experiences when it comes to the vision of money, transactions, intelligence, and more.

Note: You will first have to sign-up for an account on https://tokensale.synapse.ai/ to register the wallet.
Just downloading and running the wallet you will be gifted 100 SYN for being awesome. 😄
We currently have support for MacOS and Windows, but will be compiling for Linux support soon. We’re also working on iOS and Android releases. Hooray!
Right now we’re calling this an alpha because it won’t be ready for prime time just yet — not without your help. While we work with community to fix bugs, and make this ready for production we’ll be running this on a testnet.
Testing
How can you help? Over the next few days we’ll be launching a developer and bug bounty site where we’ll post bounties for things we need help with, things you report or fix, or security suggestions.
This is where our developer fund comes in. Not only are we going to use this fund to help grow other software in our ecosystem, we’re also using it to help grow and support the community’s efforts itself.

We’re looking for a home to gather all of our community devs. I’ll send a note out to everyone that signs up on whether that’s going to be discord, telegram, or something else. We’re also open to other suggestions.
Expansion
What’s next? Well we have a TON of amazing things we’re building out in the feature pipeline. If decentralization, distributed systems, and intelligence are your thing, we’re going to be laying down the foundations for the next fabric of machines, insights, and people, and more!
That means we will also be releasing SDKs, and allowing for developers to participate in all new and amazing *wink* *wink* ways with our application.
Not only will users be running wallets, but *ANY* machine, server, service, robot or otherwise can use, run and operate their own self sovereign wallet.

Site updates
When you register a wallet, it adds a wallet to your account. You can now choose to make different wallets a default. More about why that will be important when we announce disbursement, but also upcoming cool features.
