Interchange Processing

Today we are announcing support for interchange processing, for both debit and credit transactions via credit or debit cards.

With this new feature, platforms can now fund user accounts with cards or send disbursements back to the user’s cards.

Adding support for interchange is straightforward:

1. Create an INTERCHANGE-US node (https://docs.synapsefi.com/docs/interchange-us).
2. Create a transaction either from or to the INTERCHANGE-US node (https://docs.synapsefi.com/docs/create-transaction).

Currently we are supporting Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.

Pricing for interchange payments is different than regular ACH or Wires. If you wish to enable interchange payments, please reach out to us at help@synapsefi.com.
