Comment from GINKAN CEO Tomochika Kamiya

I am really excited to be bringing my proposal from 2019 to life. My hometown is in Aichi Prefecture, and as a child I often visited the Nagoya Grampus practice grounds and I grew up with Nagoya Grampus soccer. I have loved Nagoya Grampus my whole life. During the 2019 Nagoya Grampus x Startup Pitch event I learned that Nagoya Grampus was interested in giving back to local businesses and I am overjoyed that we connected for this project.

Although the pandemic has made it difficult for soccer fans to see games in person, I know there are still many passionate Nagoya Grampus fans. With our project fans can feel Nagoya Grampus close to home at local restaurants, even when they cannot go watch games in the stadium. And support of Nagoya Grampus will connect to support of local businesses more than ever before.

Our business model that allows local team wins to help local businesses and benefits the team, restaurants, and local fans is a business model that can be applied to not just soccer teams but other sports teams as well. I believe sports teams can give a lot back to local businesses and am excited to continue this project.
