GINKAN Inc., the managing company of SynchroLife, the token economy based social restaurant review service in which users earn cryptocurrency for dining out, won the Grand Prix top prize at the MUFG Digital Accelerator Batch 4 Demo Day held on July 26, 2019 in Tokyo, Japan. GINKAN was also awarded the Audience Award and AWS Award for a triple win. GINKAN was selected to participate in Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Inc.’s MUFG Digital Accelerator Batch 4 in March 2019. During the four month program, GINKAN has launched a proof-of-concept campaign with Mitsubishi UFJ NICOS Co., Ltd.
During Demo Day, the eight finalist companies selected to participate in MUFG Digital Accelerator Batch 4 presented and were judged on the originality of their business, the innovations of their business, benefits to users, business model, and synergy with MUFG. GINKAN won the “Grand Prix” top prize.
SynchroLife’s synergy with MUFG was proven in the proof-of-concept campaign with Mitsubishi UFJ NICOS Co., Ltd. which rewards cryptocurrency to credit card users. SynchroLife has filed a patent for this new marketing solution (Application Number 2019–116381) which helps restaurants attract customers.
