“Synco to connect the world”

Good morning, SYNCO members! :)

On July 25, we successfully held our Blockchain Symposium: Token Economy, which was 12th of its kind.

[Review by SYNCO]

Have you wondered the meaning of a token economy?

The term token economy was first coined in the field of behavioral psychology but now it is widely used in other areas including the economic sphere. The term describes an economy in which tokens are given as a reward to increase desirable behavior. Individuals can exchange the received tokens with other products or services.

We believe the idea of token economy lies at the very center of the blockchain technology. That’s why we named our monthly symposium Token Economy and we introduce various promising projects at every turn. Now, let’s look behind the scenes of the 12th blockchian symposium: token economy held in July.

01. Brief sketch of the venue

When you come to the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas at the samsung station, as soon as you enter the main gate, you can find the escalator leading all the way up to the 5th floor.

Welcome to the 5th floor. Now you have to turn left to get to the Grand Ballroom, today’s venue for the 12th Blockchain Symposium: Token Economy.

The Hall and the Grand Ballroom are empty yet.

But just in an hour…

You can see that it’s now packed with people.

Thank you again for your support and interest!

What they talked about will be posted separately, so please keep your eyes on our medium and blog channels!

03. Opening a new era with SYNCO 2.0

After the planned presentations, SHIVOM made a surprise appearance and reported on the recent progress with the project. There was also an airdrop event of the participating projects.

One of the most important events at the 12th Blockchain Symposium: Token Economy was probably the announcement of SYNCO 2.0.

Synco reported on its business track record and future plans to the attendees and announced SYNCO 2.0, a goal to become a platform business while celebrating the first anniversary since establishment.

04. Frequently Asked Questions

Team Synco had a chance to communicate with SYNCO members at the symposium. There were many inquiries and I’d like to answer them today.

1) When can I receive ICO CROWD magazine?

It was the question most frequently asked at the site. ICO CROWD magazines are handed out every month to people who registered in advance or at the site to participate in the symposium.

Synco symposiums usually take place at the end of every month. (For example, July symposium was hosted on 25th.) A day after the symposium, magazines are shipped to members who couldn’t make it to the symposium. As the delivery takes some time, some members may receive the July edition in the early August. That’s why some magazines are marked as July-Aug edition.

2) As the dinner was served during the presentation, it was hard to pay attention.

Some said it would have been better if the dinner was served before the presentation, because it was hard to pay attention to the speakers.

Team Synco will reflect this opinion when preparing for the next symposium. Thank you for your suggestions!

3) Where to contact to ask questions?

Many attendees took Synco marketing team members’ name cards. But the contact points are different depending on your pain points. :-P So please refer to the following.

(a) If you want to take part in the symposium and set up a booth or present your project on the stage, then give our symposium team an email at eventinfo@synco.kr

(b) If you are a Synco member and have a question about the company, then please use the 1:1 chatting service with Synco plus friend on Kakao talk at the following link: https://pf.kakao.com/_CnlhC

Our CS managers will kindly answer your questions. If there are questions that cannot be answered right away, don’t worry, our CS team will contact the relevant team and get back to you.

Thank you again everyone for your support you’ve given to us at the 12th Blockchain Symposium: Token Economy. Team Synco will work harder to present to you more awesome symposium next month, which will be hosted on Aug. 30. You can either register in advance or register on site to enjoy the symposium.

Until then, I’ll write about other informative events or news.

Thank you for reading.
