ga-G(ga-g.onntapi.com), a chatbot-type smart transportation platform run by Ntuple and Korail(Korea Railroad Corporation), has opened a “railway ticket purchase service” that can be used immediately when searching for routes through a Google Maps service partnership.
You can book trains directly through branches on Google Maps, and you can also use various contents such as accommodation, rental car, and travel information in one place.
Google Maps is a map service used by 1 billion people around the world, and is actively used in both Korea and abroad. The service partnership between ga-G and Google is expected to increase the number of overseas users as it makes it easier for foreign tourists to purchase railway tickets.
With its user-friendly interface in 5 languages including Korean, English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Japanese, ga-G will make it much easier for foreign travelers to not only find directions but buy tickets in real-time for all types of trains operated by Korail.
“Korail is planning to extend partnerships to increase customer experience through ga-G,” said Young Mun Jo, Chief of Korail Metropolitan Rail Business Development. Min Park, CEO of Ntuple, said “This is a great opportunity to work with the world’s leading IT company Google and to validate the value and potential of ga-G and its backend technology SyncTree.”
