Syndicate Session: The Fundamentals of Fund Formation
This month, pre-partner investors from across industries gathered for the final Syndicate Session of 2019: The FUNdamentals of Fund Formation. All puns aside, this was an evening of learning and deep discussion of the nuances of fund creation.
Experts from Cooley, CBIZ, and Standish Management each owned a table where they answered questions and shared their insight with a small working group. These three mini-workshops allowed Syndicates to explore the legal, financial, and personal implications of this topic in a dynamic, interactive format.
Whether attendees were actively preparing to start their own fund or simply interested in better understanding the process, they were able to ask questions, share resources, and connect with peers and experts.
