Barcelona, 2018
January is a hard time for us all. Some commit to new resolutions, promising to break habits of old and behaviours ingrained. Some attempt the whole thing dry and abstain from drinking entirely. Some don’t change anything at all.
All of the above are fine, there’s no judgement on our part! We just do January a little differently. We celebrate the new year by spending some quality time together outside of our studio space.
2018 was the year of Barcelona!
We set off early. Like… super early. Some hitting the road for 6am. Groggy and grumpy, bleary eyed and half asleep. Desperately seeking caffeine and something vaguely representative of breakfast food.
We left rainy ol’ England behind and landed in an only slightly chilly Spain. It would be wrong for us to say that we didn’t immediately head out for some patatas bravas and freshly poured Estrella. So very, very wrong.
We wandered down La Rambla and saw many things.
We found (and ate) KFC.
One of us even discovered our own hands for the first time.
We formed the world’s worst boy band.
Sites were seen and laughs were had, We found good coffee and even better donuts (and we looked good whilst doing it) And before we knew it, it was time to come home. But it was fine, we’d had enough of each other by that point anyway…
…Oh and we went to an art gallery.
