Tatiana Oliveira — Sports Partnerships Manager
In our staff profiles we get to know some of the team behind Atrium Sports and the role they play in making our team successful.
Can you describe your role with Atrium Sports?
I’m a Sports Partnership Manager, my role consists of taking care of our relationship with our partners and ensuring that we are both working towards producing the best content possible. Also where required I provide training for our partners to demonstrate and make sure they understand how to use our technology to its maximum potential.
What skills are necessary to perform well in your job?
First, you need to be a good communicator. Soft skills play a big role in this job. Languages are also important both as a communicator and in terms of cultural understanding. Having an entrepreneurial sense helps implement new procedures and projects for our partners. And lastly but really importantly, you need to be passionate about technology.
What do you like most about Atrium Sports’ culture?
Having a voice. This is crucial for me personally, and I think this is what Atrium Sports does really well. I feel that I’m a part of what we are building in the sports world, and this sense of belonging helps you feel like you’re more than just an employee.
What attracted you to work in sports technology?
To be honest, I was interested in the technology itself. When I first came across Atrium Sports, I didn’t know exactly how the technology was developed. And once I understood, it was a completely new door that opened for me. I think what really attracted me, is what the technology can provide for sports and how it can optimise their work. I’m keen to know how this will develop in the future.
What’s the most exciting thing you’ve done in your job recently?
Traveling to South America I think was the most exciting for me. I‘ve been to both Brazil and Argentina in the past 5 months. Being on my own in these countries working with our partners, understanding the local cultures and implementing our technology has definitely been exciting and challenging.
What advice would you give someone starting out in sports tech?
Learn and investigate. There are so many things to learn in this industry and at the same time it’s important to be up to date about how the industry works and how it’s growing.
How would you sum up your job in 5 words?
Interesting. Challenging. Communicative. Production. Technology.

I’d say, go for it! If you are looking for something that you will be able to feel a part of and you are passionate about technology and sports, don’t think twice about it. Let Atrium Sports see your strengths and what you can bring to the team.
