Over the next several weeks, we will be introducing our community — YOU — to the brilliant talents and minds that are helping to bring Synesis One to fruition. From our partners to advisors, you’ll be introduced to those who have been supporting us from Day 0!

Today we’re excited to introduce you to Eric Jordan, our Creative Art Advisor, who has created the overall branding for Synesis One. He is now leading an entire re-design of the synesis.one website, which will be released in early January 2022. We can’t wait to share it with you!

“Everything I create must tie into an underlying narrative structure so that every visual is tied to something foundational, which gives it meaning,” explains Eric Jordan, Creative Director and Advisor for Synesis One.

And with a career that has spanned over 22 years and reached some giddying benchmarks, it seems certain that this sentiment is one that he has achieved consistently.

Eric has worked as an award-winning designer and creative consultant across nearly every design and motion graphics medium there is — including film, television, websites, VR, and video games. Established as one of the leading futuristic visual design and motion directors and recognized as one of the world’s top 20 international designers by Net Magazine, he has built up a significant reputation. Eric’s work has been exhibited in the Web Design Museum and appeared on the cover of the new bestselling book “Web Design. The Evolution of the Digital World 1990-Today”. In addition, he has won awards, including the FWA’s Most Influential Flash Site of the Decade.

And has worked with clients including Adobe, Warner Brothers, Google, and AOL, amongst many others, across various industries and Fortune 500 companies.

Shared Philosophies

Eric came on board with Synesis One in June 2021 and has been working closely with the founder, Joshua Hong, to develop the brand’s visual identity. The two found a symbiosis and way to bring together the aims and philosophies of the company into a visual narrative.

“My goal was to dig deeper below the surface and draw out the more fundamental why behind Synesis One. The themes of connection with the universe and harnessing the wisdom of humanity kept coming up, which informed much of the brand development and the approach to the graphics,” says Eric.

Their partnership- and Eric’s with the brand- has been a natural one, given the significant shared values between all three. Ideas like futurism, finding ways to better advance humanity, and a commitment to the big ideas and dreams seen within science fiction helped form a bedrock of shared sentiment between all three parties.

“As a futurist myself, the vision that Synesis One has for shaping a better future aligns closely with my own,” says Eric.

“We’ve been able to leverage that synergy and create an extensive universe for Synesis One, which draws on science fiction narrative to address major real-world issues such as authoritarian governments, surveillance, and countering these challenges for the future,” he went on to explain.

Humanizing Revolution and Early Internet Aesthetics

Eric’s work has created an aesthetic that combines aspects of the Synesis One vision. It pulls together the visualization of language coupled with humanity and themes that reflect tech and early internet aesthetics. Thereby reflecting the ideas of innovation and revolution coupled with the higher human purpose that the brand is all about. This is illustrated by the use of graphical symbolism, geometry, human hands in 3D, and mystical and cosmic figures and icons; all expressed in one beautiful montage.

“Ultimately, my vision for the website was to extend some of the deeper elements underlying the mission of Synesis One and bring them to the forefront in a wonderful way. As a result, we have evolved a precise visual language that touches on a lot of different aspects of the platform such as ontologies, their language metaverses, and NFTs,” he says.

Because Eric has worked on high-profile games such as: Call of Duty — Black Ops, and Star Wars — The Force Unleashed, the Synesis One website aesthetic and layout tap into the gamified nature of how Synesis One works, as well as Eric’s own experience in gaming. The revamped website design will also reflect his work as a pioneer of the early days of internet aesthetics, reflecting the fact that Synesis One and the crypto-sphere is creating new, revolutionary aesthetics and platforms — taking us a step further into the evolution of the internet.

“I am so thankful to find myself at the core of this revolutionary space and time — the transformation of the financial world, gaming, and the next chapter of the internet, working alongside visionary companies such as Synesis One, who are motivated to build the very paradigms we only read about in science fiction or dreamed about in earlier years,” he says.
