The Story Begins… The Up-Leveling System of Synesis One

Dear Synesians,

You have long been awaiting the release of our community roles, and that time has now come! Earlier today we released the roles via a soft-launch. Its architecture includes the assigning of roles once certain levels are reached. We are also implementing a badge-system to recognize those who are going above and beyond to help nurture and grow the community.

What are the perks of your participation? Surprises, prizes, rewards, gifts, and more!

This article covers the levels, how you can level up, as well as the roles you’ll be assigned once you reach a specific level — and of course the badges. We’re rolling out this system knowing that we may make modifications along the way — especially with feedback from YOU!

LEVELS

There will be levels 0–46, with the 46th level as the top level that you can achieve.

ROLES

There are 10 roles you can achieve. They are reached when you accomplish a certain level. Each of the roles either increases the number of entries you can have for raffled prizes and/or it can afford you more spending power within the ecosystem — we’ll describe your spending power in the Economy section below.

All newbs to the community are known as Librarians (Levels 1–4). Once you reach Level 5 you’re a Scribe. The corresponding roles and levels are further mentioned below.

• Level 30: Scholars
• Level 35: Sages
• Level 40: Professors
• Level 45: Intelligentsia

A NOTE ON THE OG SYNESIANS ROLE

OG Synesians represent those in the community that have gone above and beyond in their belief and commitment to the collective mission of Synesis One. In the community they are the most supportive, welcoming, and consistent. Their collective ideas and shared voice continue to help build and shape our growing community.

We initially awarded OG Synesian roles on Discord to our early supporters who spent the most time across our platforms, exemplifying a welcoming attitude, and helpful nature. This role has grown from its original intention into something more, and we sincerely hope that this role will grow to include those community members who aspire to become the backbone of what we are all collectively building together.

But, just as any other honor, this role comes with responsibility. To avoid revocation of this role, one will need to continue participating and contributing.

EXAMPLE

If you are new to the Synesis One Discord you’ll begin at the first level, 0. Just by chatting and spending time in the Discord you’ll accrue points that will automatically gain you raffle entries for our weekly raffles.

There will be two tiers of raffle entries. Tier 1 will be for those in levels 5 through 25 and Tier 2 will be for those in levels 25–46. We felt this was one of the best ways to create fairness through the raffle system, but we note that higher levels will always have an advantage!

• Level 5–9: 1 raffle entry
• Level 10–14: 2 raffle entries
• Level 15–19: 3 raffle entries
• Level 20–24: 4 raffle entries
• Level 25–29: 5 raffle entries
• Level 30–34: 6 raffle entries
• Level 35–39: 7 raffle entries
• Level 40–44: 8 raffle entries
• Level 45–46: 9 raffle entries

BADGES

To reward those going above and beyond to spread the mission of Synesis One, we are awarding badges. These badges will be manually assigned for actions you take outside of Discord.

What actions allow me to earn a badge?

• Are you writing, blogging, or tweeting about Synesis One?
• Are you creating and sharing memes, fan art, or videos?
• Are you connecting Synesis One to potential partnership opportunities?

Any of the above warrants the Influencer, Creative, Ambassador badges. We will expand on these badges as the community continues to grow.

ECONOMY

Given that we are using Discord as the main platform to determine the levels at this time, we will also release a point economy down the line. It is the only part of the level system that is currently not yet live. As you acquire points at your respective level and role, you’ll be able to spend these points for other perks. Once all mechanisms are configured, we’ll roll this out too!
