SynFutures V2 Testnet Updates: Coin-margined Futures, Dark/Light Mode & More
V2.1 brings several new features and UI enhancements, including Coin-margined Futures and dark/light mode options.
In the weeks since we introduced the SynFutures V2 testnet and opened up testing to everyone, we’ve been working hard to address our community’s feedback while launching product and platform upgrades.
With the release of V2.1, we’re excited to share the latest roundup of updates. Starting today, these enhancements will be available on testnet.
V2.1 Key Upgrades
Coin-margined Futures
As outlined in the SynFutures V2 whitepaper, one of the major updates to V2 is the addition of Coin-margined Futures.
Now available for testing, Coin-margined Futures allows all native network tokens with a large community base, including coin-coin pairs and coin-USD stablecoin inverted pairs, to be used as margin on each deployed network.
The goal of the feature is to allow LPs to provide liquidity with their preferred store of value while traders can use their preferred token as collateral.
Oracle Updates
The newest version of the testnet, V2.1, deploys DEXs as oracles for some pairs. This is in addition to oracle provider Chainlink, which was available in V2.0.
All pairs that have DEXs deployed as oracles have the [] icon under the pair name.
Light Mode and Dark Mode Options
Prefer light mode or dark mode? Now you can choose between one or the other on the SynFutures V2 testnet. Simply click the sun/moon icon in the upper right side of the interface.
Other Highlights
UX/UI improvements
Along with new feature launches, users can expect to see some UI/UX improvements starting today.
Processing Speed Upgrade
Users can expect higher speeds when making transactions on the testnet.
Other Issues Resolved
