If you’ve left us your feedback on the Synology Community, App Store, Google Play Store, in the inquiries sent to our Support team, or through any other channels, we hear you! And we sincerely thank you for taking the time to let us know what you think.

At C2, users are at the heart of everything we do. We value your insights, and have taken action in response. So today, we’re thrilled to share with you the latest feature updates of C2 Password, purposely designed to make your password management experience even smoother.

Customizable URL Rules
For those of you who use SSO to sign into multiple apps and websites, this one’s for you. With this update, you no longer need to create separate login items and manually copy/paste your login credentials to each item. If you use different passwords for related accounts, such as youtube.com and studio.youtube.com, you can now customize URL rules to specify when to suggest the correct passwords to be autofilled.

Customizable URL rules in C2 Password

Feature highlights:
1) No more time wasted looking for the right passwords for related sites
2) Easily manage and update separate login items with the same credentials
3) C2 Password will recognize the right passwords to suggest for autofill

Password generating history
Ever generated a strong password, but just can’t recall the complex combination when needed? We’ve all been there. Which is why our users can now browse their generator history for all previous entries. This could also come in handy if you’ve generated a password for a newly created login item but accidentally closed it without saving. Simply locate the most recently generated entry, and your password will be back in your hands in no time.

How to check your generator history in C2 Password

Feature highlights:
1) All generated passwords at your fingertips
2) Track when each password was generated
3) Passwords are directly copyable from your generator history

Downloadable attachments
We’ve noticed that many of our users like to keep attachments alongside login items in C2 Password, such as images of bank books, pictures of IDs and passports, screenshots of related info, etc. These attachments are a vital companion for login credentials, so we’re enabling users to access them whenever and wherever in need.

Attachments in C2 Passwords can now be downloaded

Feature highlights:
1) Attachments saved in C2 Password can be accessed from all C2 platforms
2) Quickly download and share your attachments with friends and family

“Don’t autofill on this page”
There might be times when you don’t want a certain password to be autofilled for you. If that’s the case, simply go to Autofill settings, and check the Don’t autofill on this page box. Once done, your password will no longer be automatically filled in on the same page, until you disable the option.

How to enable “Don’t autofill on this page”

Feature highlights:
1) You’re in control of where your login credentials are autofilled
2) Disallow storing of credentials on sites you don’t trust for data privacy

Enlarged passwords
Sometimes you just need to see your passwords a bit clearer, we know, especially the strong, complicated akWP$&O!301… type. You can do that now on mobile devices, by long pressing on the password you’d like to examine and tapping Reveal (Large Font). Scroll down for the result.

Enlarged font for saved passwords

Feature highlights:
1) No more blurry, hard-to-read passwords
2) Make no mistake when entering your passwords on a different device

That’s all for now. We hope you enjoy these new features and find them useful. And remember, we’re always striving to improve our service based on user feedback, so your input will continue to be our guiding principle in creating the best password management experience possible.

If you’re new to C2 Password, this is your sign to give it a try. Kickstart your password management journey for FREE today, with security and simplicity.
