Syntropy is a faster, safer internet for every user and device. Our tech is now being piloted by more than a dozen Fortune 500 companies, and we’re excited to receive more and more attention from major enterprises and their leaders.

In March, we announced that current and former executives from Microsoft , AT&T , and Verizon would be joining Syntropy to accelerate our push for global adoption. Today, we’re proud to announce another powerful addition to our strategic advisory team: Joe Weinman.

A longtime tech and telecom executive, Weinman served as Senior Vice President, Cloud Services and Strategy, at Telx (now Digital Realty) after holding leadership positions at Bell Labs, AT&T, and HP.

“Syntropy has all the pieces in place to redefine what we expect from the internet, all with a seamless strategy for adoption. The team has built fundamentally-sound technology that solves core business problems, but also addresses important societal concerns.“ — Joe Weinman

Weinman holds 26 U.S. and international patents in a variety of technologies including cloud and distributed computing and storage, pseudoternary line coding, simulation and workflow, consumer goods, wireline and wireless technologies, telecommunications, web search algorithms, and homomorphic encryption.

“Syntropy’s network combines optimized routing, security, user control, and blockchain in a way that is truly beautiful. I‘m excited to be supporting the executive team during what should be an exciting period in company history.“ — Joe Weinman

Weinman received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Computer Science from Cornell University and the University of Wisconsin — Madison, respectively, and completed executive education courses at the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland, MIT Sloan, and Harvard Business School .

He is the author of Digital Disciplines: Attaining Market Leadership via the Cloud, Big Data, Social, Mobile, and the Internet of Things ; Cloudonomics: The Business Value of Cloud Computing ; and the co-editor of Fog and Fogonomics: Challenges and Practices of Fog Computing, Communication, Networking, Strategy, and Economics . He has also contributed dozens of business and technology articles to the Harvard Business Review, Informationweek, CIO, and IEEE Cloud Computing , and more.

“We are extremely pleased to add yet another industry executive of Joe’s stature to our team. Joe is a giant in the cloud, edge computing, and network optimization spaces. His knowledge, reputation, and relationships will prove pivotal in driving adoption of our technology and network.” — Domas Povilauskas, CEO at Syntropy
