This is a quick walkthrough for a level 1 crackme from the crackmes.one.

The bulk of the crackme is composed by a chain of “if” statements. Each one exits the app is the condition is not met.

Each one checks for a single character, as we can see in this zoomed capture:

So, just by taking a quick look at the code the password can be extracted.
