A few months ago I decided to use Medium to begin organizing my thoughts on what changes I believe the world and our society need to make in order to function better.
I have since started writing six articles and only published one of them.
The problem that I’ve found is that my thoughts are rarely organized. Things come to mind as I read or watch the news, talk with friends and family, shower, or even wash dishes. There is no real progression. No order.
With Medium I feel pressure to create valuable, polished content. This is really good for the platform and for readers, but definitely the wrong place for me to jot down incomplete, scattered thoughts and attempt to sort through them.
That said, I am not about to drop this project, and will instead be setting up a WordPress blog (the link to which I will include in this article when it’s ready) with a custom theme that will handle the different content types and hopefully feel organized.
Thank you for sticking with me while I figure this out!
