Step1. Download and Install Tachyon VPN
Download Tachyon VPN here on our official site. Click the file you download and install it.
Step2. Add Servers For Your VPN
Once you install Tachyon VPN successfully, you can step into the homepage and feel this unique decentralized VPN. Yes! It just looks like a normal VPN. You don’t even need to spend too much time learning how to use it.
- Click “+” to add a server.
- Click “Get Tachyon Key”. You will be led to our public servers page.
- These public servers are contributed by our community members for everyone to use for free during the testing period. You can choose what you need and click”Get the Key”.
- The prompt will pop up for you to copy. Copy the key and paste into your Tachyon VPN.
- Name your server and click to add it. You can add unlimited servers for your VPN in this way.
- You can also remove the servers you added as you like.
Step3. Connect
Click the central button to turn your VPN on. Then you can use it to help unblock sites & apps and protect your privacy.

Tachyon VPN is now only available on macOS 10.10 and later. iOS, Android and Windows versions are coming soon.
6. Can I remove the servers I don’t need?
Yes! With the remove button, you can remove any servers you don’t want easily.
7. Can I create my own servers?
Sure! All members can create their own servers by Tachyon Node Manager. You can download the manager here >>>
Once you created your own nodes, you can choose to set them as private keys or public keys. The public keys will be listed on our official site and be used by all members. The private keys are only available by yourself and people who get the keys.
8. Can I use IPX in Tachyon VPN?
IPX will be integrated into the system with payment channel in our next version. With IPX all provider nodes can get session fees and staking rewards and all client nodes can experience decentralized VPN service easily.
