IPX Wallet Staking Is Now Available on Tachyon VPN v2.6 Android Client
We are so thrilled to announce that the IPX Wallet Staking is now available with the release of the latest version 2.6 of Tachyon VPN on Google Play. This function will only be supported on the Android client because of the limitation of App Store Developer Policies.

With IPX Wallet Staking, all participants will be able to stake IPX directly inside the Tachyon VPN without the need to operate a node. And you can stake any amount of IPX as you want. There is also an option to boost some IPX to increase your staking ROI.
There are three different kinds of IPX staking we offer:
- IPX Staking on IPX Wallet
- Minimum staking amount: 1 IPX
- Requirement for Nodes: No
- Lock up: Yes
- Rewards: staking rewards

2. IPX Staking on Platform Partners
- Minimum staking amount: 20,000 IPX
- Requirement for Nodes: Yes
- Nodes are provided by: Platform Partners

- Rewards: staking rewards + session rewards

3. IPX Staking on Node Manager2
- Minimum staking amount: 20,000 IPX
- Requirement for Nodes: Yes
- Nodes are provided by: Participants themselves
- Nodes operation is conducted by: Participants themselves
- Lock up: No

Please follow this step-by-step guide to try IPX Wallet Staking.
Step1. Open Tachyon VPN
Please make sure your Tachyon VPN has been updated to the version 2.6.
Step2. Enter your IPX Wallet and choose “stake”
If you already have one, just log into your wallet and make sure you have some IPX in your wallet to stake. If you don’t, try to follow this guide to create one at first.
You will find the “stake” option after you click your IPX asset.
Step3. Start staking
1.Input any amount of IPX from your wallet balance to stake
You can check the estimated return from the line chart below.
2. Choose the staking period
There are 5 options for you: 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, 200 days and 365 days. This means how long your staking will be locked up after your confirmation. You can’t use the staked IPX during the locking period. Click the “Stake” button and go on.
3. Confirm & Complete
The transaction fee for each staking is 0.3 VSYS. Make sure all data is set correctly and click the “Confirm” and “Complete” button.
Step4. Try Boost Your ROI
On your staking data page, you will find the Boost option. To boost your ROI, you will also need to lock up some IPX to activate this function.
- Boost itself will not bring benefits, it can only increase the rate of return of IPX staked.
- The locked IPX in this part will not be counted in the staking amount.
- The increase of ROI depends on:
1)your staking amount & period
2)your boosting amount & period
3)Total staking amount & participants
4)Total boosting amount & participants
- Choose the amount of IPX to be locked up
You don’t need to input too much IPX here. Small amount of IPX is enough for boosting. The line chart below will help your determination.
2. Choose the boosting period
There are also 5 options for you: 90 days, 200 days, 365 days, 1000 days and 1,500 days.
3. Confirm and Complete

You can check all your staking data via the “Stake” button after your successful participation.
*Please be noticed that manual unstaking is required to return the staking amount to your wallet balance after the staking period expires.
