As business partners running the westside real estate game, F. Ron Smith and David Berg are famously compatible. Nevertheless, despite their similarities and joint successes, these two are ever at odds in music taste. Perhaps it’s this clash in interest that keeps the duo balanced, as their ability to vocally abhor each other’s tastes, laugh and move on is key to their rhythm.

While Berg jams to gold old funky blues and jazz, F. Ron Smith vibes with new-wave rock and both old-school and contemporary pop. So, while you may see Smith & Berg effectively and respectfully serving the most high-end buyers and sellers throughout Los Angeles, they’ll most likely arrive and leave separately: there’s no mutual understanding when it comes to the radio.
