

ok, I’ll play devil’s advocate here: Law enforcement in the US can access any of your other belongings (with proper paperwork), such as your car, your house, your person, your business, your laptop. Why would your phone deserve an exception here?
I disagree with characterizing the proprietary nature of the devices and wares we use, as a result of government mandated Operating Systems:
