採集される美しさは理解されない。

本が好きだ。けれど、あまり読んではこなかった。最近になって、ここ2〜3年の間はよく読んでいる。

そして、僕は本棚もまた好きだ。読んだ本、これから読む本、それを本棚には詰めていく。歴史で分けて、テーマで分けて、作家で分けて、そしてそれらが繋がりを持つように本を本棚には詰めていく。そうして出来上がった本棚が僕は好きだった。

けれど、つい先日、本棚が壊れてしまった時に、不思議と悲しかった。
