My community is somewhat close knit even though a lot of their interactions happen online. Once of my sources refers to many of the Afro-Latinos she’s met through Twitter and Tumblr as hermanas (sisters) and hermanos (brothers) because they have managed to build a strong sense of community in these online spaces.
