eBokBib som har rundt 80 % av e-bokmarkedet i norske folkebibliotek hadde i 2015 nesten 40 000 brukere. Totalt vil det dermed trolig være rundt 50 000 brukere av e-bøker på norske folkebibliotek. Det vil si at kun 1 % av befolkning har lånt e-bøker.
