In the Late 1990s, Quake received it’s first aimbot! Arguably the first aimbot ever created for any game. But around 1999–2000 the first aimbot for Unreal Tournament was released, this was the dawn of a new era. Game hacking would quickly become a massive problem, the flood gates had been opened.
