In a school in Nashville, Tennessee today an active shooter killed 6 people. The NEA points out that the number one cause of children’s death in America is gun violence. This is a depressing statistic. The legislators wanting to establish common-sense gun laws are a minority. So, more children die. Parents send their children off to school and some youngsters never return home! If our policymakers will not act, it may be time to consider an alternative — homeschooling.

Where is his outrage? Scrap “thoughts and prayers” in his speeches. Get him to pound that bully pulpit. Stop the “empathizer-in-chief” for a while. Please at least get him to look angry. Tell him to save his comfort for the families in Nashville. Get him to show his outrage before he goes. The following message was issued in 1976, our bicentennial year.
