Rest in Peace Irene Cara Irene was an American singer and actress. She was born on March 18, 1959 and died on November 25, 2022. Cara died at the age of 63. She was best known for the title track in the 1980 film frame. She did co-writing and singing of the smash hit “Flashdance, What a Feeling”. Cara died of unknown causes. She was the youngest of five children and started her career on Spanish-language TV. Her father was Puerto Rican and her mother, Cuban-American.
