As for anyone else out there wondering what the pros/cons are, theres is a good explanation in the Recompose docs, which refers to these type of functional components as being ‘referentially transparent’.

Calling functional components as functions is more like using components as factory methods. To avoid confusion, I’d rather call them — Factory — instead of Components.
