Driver 8, how do you feel about acting as shill for Libertarian vampires and hedge funds to suck the life out of yet another middle income profession, as you personally exacerbate the race to the bottom via unfair competition, and all while undercutting public safety and the environment?
Driver 8, what will you do once your sub-prime loan “rideshare” starts needing brakes, etc. after you’ve racked up 200+ miles a day? Do you have money from your meager returns from driving LyftPool to keep your car safe to the public? Or will you drive without brakes?
Pity The Doormen
I’ve heard that hotel doormen are making less — approximately $100 a night — since they aren’t putting people into as many cabs anymore and receiving tips from the hotel guests. If the car just shows up, there’s no need for the doorman.
