Feel free to look past the first 3 amazingly logical points if you can, but you may not form an argument that diminishes the importance of reducing/eliminating emotional distress in our learners. Teaching to the social and emotional needs of our students must be afforded as much importance as any line in the curriculum documents that pervade educational structures.
