Thanks for your response. I didn’t look at the aspect of how sampling affects the listener. That is definitely something I will have to research and could possible use in my paper. Thanks for giving me a different perspective!

Very interesting post, I had no idea about the 3 samples you provided at the end. You did an awesome job on elaborating what we have learned in class. Like you say, sampling was the perfect technique to draw in audiences from all walks of life. There is definitely a science to Hip Hop, and DJs and producers could be considered the scientists, along with the rap artists of course.

Your post intrigued me, because I had no idea sampling was that prevalent in rap music. I was hoping someone from our class would dive a little deeper in to this topic because I wanted to learn more about it.
