台灣所出版有關北韓的書籍，大概自10年前開始大量出現，包括記者報導、學者研究、脫北者證言，後來還有去北韓觀光的遊記。這些北韓書籍或淺或深，但愈到後來，北韓相關的出版水分就愈多。這幾年我覺得比較有參考性質的，應該是張振成的《敬愛的領袖：從御用詩人到逃亡者，一位北韓的反情報官員眼中的北韓》。該書的重要之處，在於作者曾任職北韓中央情報機關，是繼黃長燁之後，少數的北韓政治中樞脫北者。另一位，大概就是《三樓書記室的暗號》的作者太永浩。 書名「三樓書記室的暗號」，是指前幾年金正恩二哥金正哲去英國聽艾力·克萊普頓演唱會的事件，「三樓書記室」指的就是北韓領導者的秘書室，成為領導者的代稱。以太永浩為首的北韓駐英使館人員雖然貌似順利完成金正哲「微服出訪」的任務，卻也因此埋下他遠走北韓的伏筆，這大概是金正恩政權始料未及之處。但此書真正的價值，是幫我們補足金正日死後的北韓內部政治發展，包括金正恩如何掌權，如何肅清包括張承澤等北韓核心官員，以及如何不計代價的發展核武造成國際緊張的情勢等。雖然這些說法無法證實，但仍舊是第一手珍貴的資料。
