Recently, I've been exploring different areas of cybersecurity to find my passion. Thanks to a video by SimplyCyber on Youtube, I believe I've found my niche: Cyber Threat-Hunting. During the video, Mr. Auger spoke with various individuals about how veterans can break into the field with no experience. Tom Moore from "With You, With Me" particularly caught my attention as he suggested that veterans would be well-suited for cyber threat-hunting positions and earning the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification (video here). Inspired by this, I've begun researching threat-hunting and connecting with professionals in this area on LinkedIn. Although I haven't discovered any other certifications or pathways to becoming a threat-hunter, I'm determined to pursue the OSCP certification. Wish me luck!
