Great story, Karen. As we become adults we should be critical about what has been imprinted on us in our childhood, and sometimes it takes a lot of time (sometimes a life is not enough…). Being critical does not mean necessarily that we should deny what has been taught to us — it could be of value — . It simply means to search for our truth. I think this is a milestone of personal growth.
