The real problem is that bugs are deemed inevitable and acceptable in software development circles. That alone has to setoff alarm bells with regards to unfettered introduction of AI into our daily lives.

Coding since 4th grade, was using college internet when WWW got invented. Never saw coming the thoroughly insane embrace of something as anti-privacy as FB. Apparently few users know of the tale about Zucky typing in an IRC channel “these stupid F’s TRUST me!” in the college, dev days. Just astonishing.
