The loss of neighborhoods is what concerns me about inclusionary housing programs that push Mission residents into the Richmond and SOMA residents into the Sunset, disrupting communities that have built support for long-time residents. This is especially hard on the elderly and disabled, but also creates difficulties for families that may be broken up and spread throughout the city and or Bay Area.

You bring up a really interesting point about his wealthy landlord status CatB. That being said, landlords like Mr. E stand to profit if there was a No vote. So it’s a little paradoxical of him to be on the other side, maybe he’s empathizing more with the people who are being pushed out of their homes — similar to the personal anecdote in the Fighting History paragraph.

Good article. @CatB what is your point again with the comment? Help me undrestand this. He seems to stand for cause he beleives in. My parents are landlords, and they deeply care about tenants and their city. Why are they mutually exclusive? Makes no sense.
