It feels like the right answer for at least 10 more of these teams might just be the quarterback. Even some of the middle tier QBs are so important to their team that almost any price would be worth it to keep them around.

I feel like maybe each team should get to pay one QB above and beyond salary cap rules. Like maybe anything after 15% is just up to the team. The best ones are worth like half of the cap.
