I so relate. I’m always trying to retain more of what I read. I hate that feeling of finishing a chapter then being like “wait, what happened?” Lol.
I’ve found the same, that Quora and Medium are more effective for exposure, views, and really having a conversation.

I believe the definition of a minimalist lifestyle is living without things you don’t need and books are a necessary tool in life. I know nowadays you can read everything online, or a Kindle, or your cellphone but I just don’t want to. I want books. I need books.
