Thank you, Savanna D’Amato. I’m still getting used to Medium so I’m unsure how to contribute but would relish the chance to do so all the same.
I too be a newbie to this. I was looking for an app that would allow me some scope on the future, and perhaps let me speak to my long since passed Granddad Clive. I thought Medium was it. Then I realised it to be a charlatan.
I kid. But I agree, coming to Medium new and seeing many vacate after I just started following them…
With all due respect: Not true. Making intelligence a simple matter of “ having read more than others” is just as saying that intelligence in its entirety is simply a myth.
Intelligence could mean far more than that. The ability to memorise, calculate and connecting the dots has more to do with processing than memorising…

(Pressing questions aside, loved the piece! I’m still shocked at how quickly we went as a society from nicknames and handles to a full, real-name basis online. Did we all just suddenly wake up in 2008 trusting Twitter or something?)
