Far away from my home,
I heard an enchanting song.
The voice was truly melodious,
So, I couldn’t resist it.
I followed the song,
and reached an Edenic garden.
I saw a beautiful mermaid with a pair of alluring wings,
Who was dancing in the pond,
As she sang the beautiful song.
My eyes were awestruck after seeing her beauty,
I was drawn to her without much thinking.
Her voice became more captivating,
As I got closer to her.
When I reached the pond,
Something in me suddenly jerked.
The siren looked exactly like me,
Why are you looking exactly like me?
I asked the euphonic siren.
I am your soul,
Calling you out to tell you who you are,
She replied.
