You nailed this one. I would just like to add that Communists have historically been the most genuine and consistent anti-fascists, anti-capitalists and anti-imperialists. The Soviet Union defeated fascism in Europe pretty much by itself. The help they got from the other “allies” in WW2 came too little and too late. It is no accident that the anti-fascist poster above is from the Soviet Union.
The Americans lied about socialism and communism, and continue to lie to this day. Whatever shortcomings there were, or mistakes made, in the Soviet Union I know this much — the bad guys won the Cold War. No question about it.
